BLA's Effectivity Program
Providing everything you need to leave striving for productivity behind, and to embrace the freedom of being effective.
Life Goals
It all has to start with the end in mind. Where do you want to be in life? Not sure? Really not sure? Don't fret; this is most people's answer to the question. We'll share with you a path to getting to the root of what your goals, aspirations, missions and everything else are so that you can start to make sure your life is pointed towards achieving those.
Annual Planning
Once you have discovered your life's mission (or just where you want to get to if "mission" is too strong for you), you need to start thinking about how you're going to get there. That's where the first set of planning tiers comes in. We'll walk you through how to split out those massive, lofty, stretching life goals into more manageable chunks...and then map that number of years to get there.
Quarterly Planning
Whether you work in an industry that tracks quarters or not, we think that embracing this 4-times-per-year planning is key to helping your crazy brain understand and compartmentalize all the things it needs to do to achieve your life goals. We'll teach you how to assess your annual plans and break those down into smaller chunks that still interest you, but at the same time give you a challenge.
Monthly Planning
Once you have quarter-sized chunks of things planned - or you've set a goal for that quarter, its time to break it into even more manageable chunks. We'll teach you how to create monthly, achievable milestones that build to form your quarterly plans, and prepare you to prepare in smaller time periods.
Weekly Planning
Just like studying for exams or working on a large project, we keep going...breaking down those monthly milestones into bitesize chunks that can fill your week, keep you on track, and get you close to being effective in your weekly work. We'll teach you how to break down your monthly milestones into 4 smaller chunks. We'll also teach you our method for planning your week to ensure maximum output for you with least effort exerted.
Daily Planning / Routines
“We are the sum of our actions, and therefore our habits make all the difference.” - Aristotle. I'm not sure he envisaged corporate life and the deluge of emails we receive, but the message still rings true. What we do in our routines really does make the difference. Here, we'll teach you how to plan your days, how to set up your schedule for success, and how to set up morning and evening routines that keep you on track and motivated. Since you'll already know what your goal is for today, tomorrow and the next through the week, your mind can quiet down and let you get on with it knowing that everything is planned.
Systems for Success
All the goals and planning in the world is not going to get you anywhere without some structure in place. Hell, my ADHD brain gets distracted by the window when I know damn well I need to finish that presentation prep. We'll teach you the principals of setting up your systems; sharing with you the key elements you need to account for. How you implement these is entirely up to you; after all, only you know how your brain works and what's best for it.
